Meet Mrs. Hamilton: A Woman-In-History Theatrical Performance

Free & Open to the Public! Registration Required!

Smithsonian Magazine declared, “Eliza Hamilton is deserving of a musical of her own!” Come meet Mrs. Hamilton in this unique one woman production with Anne Barrett. Barrett will portray Mrs. Hamilton and share her story; from wealthy belle to family protector, Eliza’s indomitable spirit and unwavering devotion to Alexander enabled her to survive and thrive after tragedy leaving a lasting legacy that has lived on for 200 years.

For nearly 20 years, Anne has been entertaining and educating audiences with her lectures and women-in-history performances at hundreds of libraries, historical societies, museums, and other social and civic groups throughout New England. She is President of the Topsfield Historical Society, editor of its newsletter Local Lore, and a former history columnist in Community Newspaper’s Tri Town Transcript. She is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and a former Mrs. Essex County. She holds a B.S. cum laude from Colby Sawyer College and an M.S. from Boston University.
