Community Workshop: Build an Accessible Raised Bed Garden
Tuesday, May 17 @ 5:00

Are you Wondering: How to build raised beds of wood? How to design your vegetable plantings for optimal harvest?  If you've ever thought about building a raised garden bed but weren't sure how to proceed, this afternoon workshop is for you!

Come help assemble, fill, and plant an accessible raised garden bed at the library!  The workshop will also include time to answer your questions about materials and designs to help inform your own raised bed garden ideas.  We will discuss and demonstrate using a raised bed well to maximize growing space and variety over three seasons.  All ages welcome, no experience needed!  Come contribute to your community and learn!

Wear clothes that can get dirty.

Registration appreciated.

All made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services - Dig-In Grant.
