Program Description

Event Details

This program is being held at the Alan E. Rich Environmental Park. Make sure to meet us at the park--not at the library!

Join the Athol Public Library and Professor Bugman on an exciting Insect Safari! Professor Bugman is a real entomologist (a professional bug expert!) and he will teach us how to safely catch bugs before leading us on an insect-finding expedition through the Alan E. Rich Environmental Park.

The program begins at the park at 11:30. Please do your best to be on time so that you may hear all the safety instructions and be part of the group as we move together throughout the park. We will not wait for latecomers once the safari has begun.

This program is occurring twice today so that more kids can go on safari! Please see the other calendar event to sign up for the 1:00 safari. (Please only sign up for ONE safari.)

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Athol Cultural Council a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
