The Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission has a new name: MassAbility The name, selected in close consultation with the disability community, promotes a new, more inclusive model for disability career services and independent living,
MassAbility empowers people with disabilities to live life on their own terms. MassAbility Career Services, formerly called Vocational Rehabilitation, provides tools and knowledge to help persons with disabilities to thrive professionally. Services include job placement, employment counseling, access to regional offices, career training and events, and more.
