Millers River - The Jewel of North-Central Massachusetts History and Significance presented by Chris Coyle
The Millers River, winding its way through the heart of our community, is rich with history, beauty, and resources that make our area special. Local amateur historian Chris Coyle’s pictorial presentation will take you on a journey from its formation millions of years ago, through the landmarks where it runs, to its effect on industrial development and its impact on people and wildlife. Told through stories and images of old maps, photos, and postcards, you’ll see the brilliance of the Millers River—that beautiful gem flowing right outside our door. This special program is the first in a series in memory of nature educator and enthusiast, Kathy Richards, made possible by a donation from her family.
Free and Open to the Public.
