Museum on Main Street

Crossroads is part of Museum on Main Street, a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution and state humanities councils nationwide. Support for Museum on Main Street has been provided by the United States Congress.

Event Details

Join us for a roundtable-style discussion about the past, present, and possible futures of land stewardship and use in our rural area. Panelists will share ideas about their own work and visions for what it means to work toward justice in relationship with land, including through farming, food, and projects of remediation, conservation, and rematriation. 

Local organizations that are grappling with these issues will be present and will share some of their thought processes and current actions.

Our panelists will include:

Michael Del Rio, Farmer Teacher, the Farm School, Athol

Cathy Stanton of the Quabbin Food Connector will moderate.
