Purpose of Meeting
The Athol Cultural Council is sponsoring a chartered bus trip to Stockbridge, MA to visit the Norman Rockwell Museum, dine at the historic Red Lion Inn, and enjoy the shops and amenities of lovely downtown Stockbridge.
Thursday, May 16, 2024, 7:30am - 6:15pm
Cost: $80 per person, limit of 2 tickets per person
Pick up is at 7:30am at the Athol Senior Center. Upon arrival at the museum, visitors will be broken into 2 groups, each of which will participate in a 40 minute guided tour while the other browses the grounds on their own.
Lunch at the Red Lion Inn includes: mixed green salad; your choice of: roasted haddock with lemon caper sauce, Jack's pot roast with beef demi-glaze, chicken pot pie, or the vegetarian seasons bounty; and the chef's choice of starch and seasonal vegetable. A desert of fruit crisp with seasonal fruit, streusel, and whipped cream will be served along with coffee and tea.
Following lunch, there will be time to visit the shops and businesses of Stockbridge's downtown.
At 4:00pm the bus will depart Stockbridge, returning the the Athol Senior Center around 6:15pm.
Space is limited. Tickets go on sale April 6 at 10:00am at the Library and will be offered on a first come first served basis. Meal choices must be made when tickets are purchased. Cash or check only (no cards).
All ticket sales are final - no refunds.
