Event Details

The Celebrate Spring Celtic Harp Concert is a special performance and cultural library program to celebrate the arrival of Spring and St. Patrick's Day weekend with a relaxing evening of live Celtic harp music.

Petersham resident, Annette Ermini, performs her popular harp music with descriptive commentary to usher in the new season after a long, cold winter.

Annette's Celtic harp is especially fitting for a range of classics such as Danny Boy and Scarborough Fair and Renaissance songs such as Drive the Cold Winter Away and The South Wind from the 1600-1700s.

Harp music is not only beautiful and relaxing to listen to, but it also brings healing qualities. Harp therapists are known for playing their soothing sounds in cardiac, stroke, and neonatal units.

The harpist and library look forward to a positive, uplifting community event with the resonant sound of live harp music!
