Program Description

Event Details

The Grumpytime Club Band is a family music party band including kid musicians and costumed dancers. Playing original music from Carrie Ferguson’s award-winning album, The Grumpytime Club plus a handful of surprising covers, they rock fairs, festivals, and libraries with their high-energy funky folk-pop. Featuring a shifting pallet of horns, violin, guitar, mandolin, keys, bass and drums, their music is highly danceable and truly fun for all ages, highlighting themes of inclusivity, social justice, Earth stewardship and LGBTQ youth/family pride.

We'll be dancing along to their music in the park behind the library, with bubbles, chalk, and more!

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Athol Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.
