We Need Volunteers from the Athol and North Quabbin Area:
Meals on Wheels, Grocery Shopping, Home Safety, Money Management,
Phone Pals, Rainbow Elders, and Rides for Health

For more information and to fill out the on-line volunteer application
○ Our recent Healthy Living Workshop had 2 volunteers and 12 participants who
learned about “Living with Chronic Conditions,”
○ Our Rides for Health volunteer in Warwick drives a woman living in Athol to
medical appointments in Gardner. (Last month gave 27 rides to 12 clients!)
○ Every day, our Meals on Wheels Volunteers bring a cheerful hello (wellness check),
and a hot meal to over 500 individuals,
○ As a Money Management volunteer, Janet helps a person pay their rent—this step
can mean someone at risk of eviction remains in stable housing.
