Event Details

The most important habit of mind is reflection. Reflection is the process of thinking deeply about our ideas and experiences. We can improve our thinking by reflecting on our actions and learning from mistakes and miscues.

Join local author John Chetro Szivos for an interactive discussion on critical thinking. The evening will be much more than a lecture. The presentation will focus on skills you can apply professionally and personally to improve your life. In this engaging and active presentation, he addresses the trap of automatic thinking and overcoming obstacles to our thinking. The good news is that we can all learn to become critical thinkers, and you will likely leave the presentation with new ideas and insights.

His recent publication is On Becoming a Critical Thinker: Awakening Your Business Superpower.

Szivos has been featured on multiple major media outlets and podcasts, discussing how anyone can benefit from improving their critical thinking skills and sharing ideas and tips that people can adopt. Come and join us for a potentially life-changing evening.

John Chetro Szivos holds a Ph.D. in communication from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, an MBA degree, and master’s degree in counseling.  He has filled the titles of Full Professor and Dean at universities in the United States.

His consultations include the World Health Organization along with several other high-profile organizations.
