Event Details

Healthy, rich soil is the foundation for a good garden.  This slide presentation with time for Q & A provides no-till ideas for using cardboard, compost, and mulches to start or enrich your garden, reduce watering and weeds, and be climate-resilient.

Our presenters will be Deb Habib and Ricky Baruc.  Founders of the Seeds of Solidarity Farm and Education Center, it has been their life’s work to help people “grow food everywhere.”  Their solar-powered farm grows abundant food with simple tools and no-till, climate-resilient methods.

This project was made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services - Dig-In Grant.

Registration required.
