Artful Stitches

In this mending workshop, join textile artist and mender Percival Burch for step-by-step guidance in the art of mending by hand. Participants should bring in their mending project for guidance and instruction on mending techniques. Ripped clothing, hems, new zipper, missing buttons, holey socks? He can mend them all!   By the end of the session, participants will not only learn the skills to mend torn or damaged textiles, but also how to transform a mundane chore into a functional piece of art.

Age: 16+ or 12+ accompanied by a parent or guardian in the workshop
