Program Description
Event Details
Graphic Novel Club is a space for graphic novel lovers to come together and talk about the books they love (or hate!). Each month, we will all read the same book and meet at the library to talk about it. We'll have discussion questions to keep the conversation going, activities related to the book, and a selection of read-alikes (books recommended for fans of the book we're discussing) available to borrow.
This month, we're reading and discussing Warriors: The Prophecy Begins (part 1)
For generations, four Clans of wild cats have shared the forest. But the cats of ThunderClan are in grave danger, and sinister ShadowClan grows stronger every day. In the midst of this turmoil appears a house cat named Rusty--who may turn out to be the bravest warrior of them all.
We will have copies available to borrow in the Children's Room. If you read the book, but decide you don't like it, come to the meeting anyway! We welcome honesty; dissenting opinions make for the most interesting conversations!
Our Children's Librarian will be facilitating and supervising this discussion.
