ATAC

Want to be more involved in the library? Teens ages 12-18 are invited to apply to join ATAC: the Athol Teen Advisory Council! The teen leadership group works with Emily, the teen specialist, to bring new ideas and projects to the library.  Teens who are interested in participating can pick up an application in the Teen Space. 

ATAC meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month, unless there is a conflicting holiday, from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the library.

During Meetings Teens:

  • help plan teen programs like scavenger hunts or mini carnivals
  • support community projects such as the local scarf bombing
  • talk with other teens and make new friends
  • talk about what they have been reading and help pick out new books
  • voice their opinions on what is happening at the library
  • earn volunteer hours

If you are interested speak with Emily in the Teen Space to find out more about how to join.
